Annabelle Hardy's Capstone Portfolio

Hello! My name is Annabelle Hardy and I am a fourth-year TRU student completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a major in New Media. I am originally from the UK and now living in British Columbia as a permanent resident. Thanks to my traveling and internship experiences, including earning my level 1 and 2 Icelandic horse training certificates, my background blends creativity, culture, and hands-on experience. I am passionate about social media, design, and visual storytelling, and have had the opportunity to work on branding and website projects for the Canadian Icelandic Horse Federation (CIHF). Outside of academia, I ride, train and work with Icelandic horses and have always upheld a job, usually in customer service, while studying. The past two and a half years I have worked in the wine industry, where I have been able to promote sustainable farming practices both in person and online. As a communicator, I value empathy, clarity, and visual engagement, and I strive to create accessible content that connects meaningfully with diverse audiences.
