This piece was created for a Rural Geography course, this research poster looks at 100 Mile House as the case study analyzing how this rural town implements Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) 11 and 15 to reframe rural communities as leaders in sustainable tourism. While this was a team effort, working with one other peer, I took on the role as team leader, designing the poster, shaping the projects narrative, organized and synthesized research and delivered the presentation at the Undergraduate Research Showcase conference. Throughout my research I applied strong communication and visual storytelling skills, using design strategy and research tools to make complex sustainability concepts engaging and persuasive.
